But have you ever seen a … VIRTUAL FORAGER contest?

Beginning in December, join Uncommon History each Wednesday for some real-time fun. The picture of a Civil War era artifact will be placed on this blog and all interested foragers are invited to scour the internet for the item. Once found, the foragers will individually report their findings back to Uncommon History.

Each week individual foragers who find an item will get a score added to their name. At the end of the month, the forager with the highest score will win the prize for that month.

(In the case of a tie, a tie-breaker item will be provided and the first one to reply with an accurate find will be the winner)

We will start out pretty easy, but if no forager has been able to identify the item by Friday, I will place two hints on the Forager game page.
