I hope all the fathers out there experienced a great Father’s Day today. Personally it was a wonderful day and I am thankful to have such a thoughtful Church and family. At the end of our Church service today they handed us a coupon to a free smoothie at Froots. I chose the Pina Coolada and it was very tasty and refreshing. When we got home, all the kids gave me their special gifts and cards. My daughters also recorded some beautiful songs for me that I know I will play for years to come.
When lunch was done we spent a few relaxing hours at the pool then returned home to dry off. We capped off the evening with dad’s famous grilled cheeseburgers and a delicious German Chocolate cake my oldest daughter made for me.
The day is drawing to a close and I can honestly say it has been one of the best father’s day in recent memory!
