It really is hard to believe that we’ve been in our new home for over three years now. When we first moved in, the entire house was a blank canvas. The white walls and light beige carpet begged us to add color to the interesting architecture.
We started customizing our home right away and began adding color to the bathroom walls. Next came the living room and kitchen. The bedrooms were next on the list and then the foyer and dining room. The house was beginning to feel like home, but there was still something missing.
We have plans to remove the existing carpet, but haven’t yet decided whether or not to replace it with new carpet, install wood flooring, or leave the concrete floor expose but dye it. While we are waiting to make our minds up on that, we put down some area rugs to liven up the dull and boring floors.
It may not seem like it, but area rugs can really add an interesting dimension to just about any room. There are so many styles and designs, these versatile rugs add flavor and pizazz to areas that too often go overlooked.
I’m really enjoying the design and layout of your site. It’s a very easy on the eyes which makes it much more pleasant for me to come here and visit more often. Did you hire out a designer to create your theme? Excellent work!
